Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Dolores Jernigan Reep, age 86, of Winchester, TN. She passed from this life on Thursday January 20, 2022, and joined her husband whom she longed to be with. A native of Fayetteville, TN, she made her home in McMinnville TN, after meeting and marrying the love of her life, Joe Reep. Together they made a life with Drive-In Theaters, and she later obtained her Degree in Education. Dolores began her teaching career in 1980 with the Warren County School District. She later became employed with FC Boyd Sr. Christian School. While at Warren County Senior High School, she retired after managing the Japanese Learning Department.
Those who knew Dolores knew how much she loved her great grandchildren, teaching, traveling and reading. She was an avid supporter of FOX News and everyone that knew her knew her political affiliation for Donald Trump. In her travels, she had the privilege to travel to Japan on multiple occasions. Dolores was a member of the Garden Club and Westwood Church of Christ in McMinnville.
She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories her son, Michael “David” Reep, Sr. and his wife Lisa, of Estill Springs, TN; grandchildren, Michael Reep, Anthony Reep, Miranda Smith, Ashley Reep, Matthew Reep, Taylor Walls; step-grandchildren, Terri Lynn Holliday, and Jamie Garrett; great grandchildren, Abigail Franklin, Kadence Smith, Madison Reep, Jaelynn Smith, Elijah Reep, Emma Hopkins, Laina Smith, Gavin Reep, Bryson Garrett, Blayze Reep, Sadie Reep, Stella Reep, Reagan Holliday, Zeppelin Reep, Pheonix Holliday, Ocean Holliday, and Taylin Walls.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 47 years, Joe Reep; son, Mark Anthony Reep; great grandchildren, “Baby Max” Redwine and Ellie Anne Reep; sister, Mary Katherine Couser; brothers, Robert “Bobby” Jernigan, and Rawlin Jernigan.
Joe Reep had made a promise to his loving wife before his passing. He promised that he would be waiting for her, and what a great comfort that brings the family to know that they are now, “Together Forever”.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held by personal invitation only, by son, Michael David Reep, Sr.
