Bobby Dean Speegle, 81, of Vinemont, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018. Mr. Speegle owned and operated Bob Speegle Garage in Birmingham, AL for 30 years and in Bremen, AL for 16 years. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, hunting, and picking strawberries to use in his homemade wine. He was a master griller and made his own special bar-b-que sauce. He spent many years as a volunteer fireman in Bremen. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and would take them to Dollar General every day. He is preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Eura Merrin Speegle; sisters: Tressie Morrow, Mavelene Brown and Lessie Weeks and brothers T.K. Speegle, Rayford (Pete) Speegle and Clouse (Punk) Speegle. Mr. Speegle leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Karen Robison Speegle, Vinemont, AL.; daughter, Sherrie Jenne, Horn Lake, MS.; son, Michael Lee Holmes and wife, Kathryn, Vinemont, AL.; grandchildren: Noah Holmes and Katie Holmes; and brother Sherrill Speegle and wife, Carolyn. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life for Mr. Bobby Dean Speegle will be on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in the chapel of the funeral home with Bro Randy Makemson officiating. Burial will follow at Vinemont First Baptist Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Noah Holmes, Randall Reece, Todd Rutherford, Keith Robison, Joey Thompson and Rickey Speegle.
