FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department has released a statement and a video in order to get help from the public in identifying a suspect in a robbery:
“Breaking Overnight.
Florence Police are investigating the armed robbery of Paradise Foods on Chisholm Road near the intersection of Rickwood Road. Shortly after 10 pm last night, officers responded to a robbery call at the business.
The attached video shows a subject, believed to be white, enter the store armed with a gun and steal money from the cash register and cigarettes from the counter. The subject fled the store and no injuries were reported.
The subject was last seen running southeast toward Rickwood Road. No suspects have been named.
