David Joe Coker, Sr., 71, of Lexington, passed away July 31, 2012, at ECM Hospital. He was a Baptist, an elevator mechanic, did wood turnings and carvings, and attended local art shows.

Survivors include his wife Judy Hostetter Coker ; son David J. Coker, II; daughter Cindy Coker and brother Stanley Coker.

He was preceded in death by his parents  Gordon Coker and Adrienne Coker

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home with Bro. Randy French officiating.
