James Franklin Hyde, age 77, died July 19, 2012.  He was born in Lauderdale County, Tennessee on January 25, 1935 the son of the late Marshall Neal Hyde and Clorse Stanfield Carpenter.

Visitation:  Sunday, July 22nd, 2012 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Monday, July 23rd, 2012 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

The funeral service will be in The Shackelford Chapel ,  Monday, July 23rd, 2012 3:00 PM with burial in Memory Gardens Savannah, TN.
On June 6, 1986 he was united in marriage to Pat Harville, who survives.

James retired from General Motors Corporation. He served his country during the Korean War while serving in the United States Army. James was also owner of Hyde Trucking from 1988 to 2003. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. Whether you were family or friend, you knew you were loved.

James departed this life on July 19, 2012 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 24 days.

In addition to his wife, Pat of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by 2 sons, Bobby Hyde of Redmond, Oregon and Don Hyde of Joliet, Illinois

3 daughters, Kay Schenk of Lockport, Illinois, Holly Tacker of Stantonville, Tennessee and Heather Hansing of Savannah, Tennessee

17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

one brother, Marcus Hyde of Tampa, Florida and one sister, Ersell Hardy of Ripley, Tennessee

In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Betty Wright, Adell Warren and Louise Hyde and one brother, Roger Hyde
