Thomas Edward South, 74, of Lexington, passed away at his home in Poplar Springs on Monday, June 1. Born in McKean County, PA, “Uncle Tommy”, as he was called is preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters and his parents, Nannie and Roby South. He leaves nieces and nephews, cousins who are scattered throughout the United States, including Shirley Johnson of Lexington, Terry Buck of Ramsay, IL, Belinda Moore of Turley, OK, Robby South of Wichita Falls, TX, Jeanie Heiman of Herrich, IL, etc.
Services for Mr. South will be held Wednesday, June 3 at 2 PM with Pastor Darrell Barber officiating. Burial will be at Independence Cemetery.
Visitation will be between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 2 at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington.
