Jerry E. Davis, 72, of Rogersville, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, at his residence. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local No. 320, retired from Wise/Reynolds Metals, and a member of Springfield First Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow immediately in the chapel with Terry Herston officiating. Burial will be in Harvey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Wilson, Ricky McMurtrey, Cody Slaton, Colt Davis, Taylor Davis, and Cameron Davis.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Jessie Davis, and sister, Jeanette McMurtrey.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy Kelley Davis; children, Jeffery (Shannon) Davis, Kimberly (Randy) Parker, and Jamie Davis (Stacey Ridgeway); grandchildren, Colt (Jamie) Davis, Savannah Davis, Taylor Davis, Makayla Davis, Cody Slaton, and Cameron Davis; great-granddaughter, Robyn Davis; sisters, Jean (Royce) Wilson and Gail Floyd; and numerous nieces and nephews.
