FLORENCE-The 2021 University of North Alabama Homecoming Parade presented by the Homecoming Committee and Office of Alumni Relations will be hosted on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. The parade will travel South down Pine Street, East on Tennessee Street, and North on Court Street ending in front of Rogers Hall (Alumni House).
The UNA Homecoming theme is Year of the UNA Woman – Legends, Trailblazers, Heroes.
This is a special time when alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends come together to celebrate our love for UNA by participating in Homecoming festivities planned throughout the weekend.
To register an entry, please click HERE. The deadline for parade entry is Friday, October 8th by 12:00 p.m.
There will be a $25.00 parade entry fee. Parade lineup will begin after 9:30 a.m. on Pine Street. The UNA Homecoming parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. Each parade entry is required to have a parade permit.
The Office of Alumni Relations will notify participants to pick up parade permits the week of Homecoming on the main floor of Rogers Hall, October 11-15 during normal operating hours.
Trophies will be awarded by the Office of Alumni Relations to the best parade entry in the following categories: Non-Profit, Community/Civic Group, and Local Shoals Business. The winners will be announced during a media timeout at the UNA Homecoming football game.
