Christine “Chris” Fitzgerald Miller, age 70, of Haleyville, was on vacation in Peru with her beloved husband, Jesse Miller, when God called her home, June 15, 2014. Christine was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Miller, and her mother, Ellie Fitzgerald. In addition to her loving husband of 52 years, Jesse, she is survived by her father, Willie Fitzgerald; children; Robin Nunley and husband, Billy, and Erik Miller and wife, Sally; siblings, Billy Ray Fitzgerald and Teresa Welton; and five grandchildren Josh, Caleb, Emily, Maggie and Sammi. Visitation will be Friday, June 27th, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Don Wright officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence.
