FLORENCE-The Jeff Dropo Run 4 Kids was held Saturday, May 12 at Florence High School. This was the 10th anniversary for the run. The Quad Cities Daily was on hand to capture the event in photos and we present them to you here:
ABOUT THE RUN
Jeff Dropo Run 4 Kids is a non-profit event which includes 5K/1K walk/run in which all proceed benefit Camp Smile-a-Mile. Camp Smile-A-Mile’s mission is to provide year round challenging, unforgettable recreational and educational experiences for young cancer patients, their families as well as young adult survivors from Alabama at no cost. Our purpose is to provide these patients, families and survivors with avenues for fellowship, to help them cope with their disease, and to prepare them for life after cancer.
