Louvenia ’Lou” Nix age 97 of Hamilton, AL passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at Marion Regional Nursing Home. She was born in Hamilton, AL on Wednesday, August 25, 1915 to Meredith and Liza Jane Duke. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 12, 2013 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2013 at the Marion County Funeral Home with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Nicky Ray will officiate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elby Nix; son, Hoyle Nix; Daughter, June Norris; grandson, Darby Norris; daughter in law; Carol Nix; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory, grandson, Lonnie Nix great grandchildren, Daphne Bishop and husband, Michael, Latasha Bishop and husband Gerald , Chase Nix. and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
