lauderdale county courthouseLAUDERDALE – This week the Lauderdale County Commission discussed a variety of Resolutions and Approvals for upcoming business.

-A resolution was discussed for the transfer of a 1998 Ford Taurus to be transferred from one division to another for the amount of $1.

– A resolution for a budget amendment for RSVP, the total amount for the revision being $2000.

– The Digital Information Cooperative Agreement has been awarded a Federal Grant for computer equipment, the sum of the grant being $1500.

-Vacation of the Armstead Cemetery

-Vacation of County Road 653

During the work session, after the regular meeting time, it was discussed that there is a plan to turn Highway 41 into a 4 lane road all the way up to the Tennessee line.
