Theron McKinneyRED BAY – Theron McKinney, owner of McKinney RV, has been arrested and charged with first-degree sexual abuse due to the allegation reported by one of his former employees.

McKinney was arrested at his business Thursday, and the arrest is due to an investigation by local police and the ABI.

Although McKinney has denied these charges, Red Bay’s Police Chief Jana Jackson says that McKinney is accused of touching and grabbing his employee while she was working for him.

According to Jackson the woman did not contact the police until last week about the events that occurred during her employment, and  has now relocated to a different area because of this incident.

With a bail of $50,000, McKinney is currently being held in the Franklin County Jail on charges of First-degree sexual abuse, and could serve up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
