FLORENCE – Shoals bikers and non-scooter-drivers alike have the opportunity once again to have a great time in the park and at the same time raise lots of cash for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. “Rally at the River” will be held this Saturday, June 8th at McFarland Park.
This rainy weather is expected to move out of The Shoals by late Friday, so the weather should be cooperating. One of the Rally organizers, Cindy Kimbrough Evans writes on the event’s Facebook page,
“The Rally is free unless you ride in the ride or you purchase tickets for the drawings for the great prizes to be given away. Bring a lawn chair or sit in the stands to hear some great bands. There will be food vendors, art and craft vendors, information booths and event vendors. Please tell your friends and invite them down to Mcfarland. Help support St. Jude fight childhood cancer!”
