Luther King in Birmingham, AL. Some of the children walked from miles away, and many were hosed and arrested. Historical novelist Rosalie Turner decided to write about these children’s courage in her new novel March with Me. Join us at the library as Ms. Turner shares her research on the Children’s March and discusses her book.  Ms. Turner will be at the Florence-Lauderdale Public Library on Sunday, June 9 at @:00 pm to sell and sign copies of her book at this event.  For more information about this program, call256-764-6564, ext. 28.

Award-winning author, Rosalie T. Turner, has been writing for over 28 years. She currently resides between Angel Fire, New Mexico and Birmingham, Alabama. Her book, Sisters of Valor, recently received the Military Writers Society of America Bronze Award for Fiction.
