The award was presented to Johnson by the Greater Shoals/ Sheffield Rotary Club as well as the Florence Rotary Club at the Marriott Shoals Conference Center.

Johnson said “Getting this award is very humbling . It means so much  to me because of the other people I know who are in law enforcement and have done so much for this profession.”  Johnson also went on to say that he will be using the $1000 that also came with the award to further his education. He plans on using the money to go to the University of North Alabama.
