Lucretia Vinson Tribble – Obituary

Graveside service for Lucretia Vinson Tribble, 73, of Decatur, will be Monday, April 29, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn in Athens. Dr. John Taggart will be officiating and Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home will be directing.

Lucretia V. Tribble, who died Friday, April 26, 2013, was born on February 25, 1940, in Limestone County to the late Alvis and Ruth Loberta Vinson.

She worked many years as a seamstress and retail. She retired from Dillard’s. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Carl Vinson; her sister-in-law, Virginia Vinson; her brother-in-law, Dave Curtis; and her nephew, Jason Biggerstaff.

She leaves behind two daughters, Donna Edmondson and husband Charles, and Melissa Tribble; a sister, Linda Curtis; grandchildren, Ruth Ann Terry, Tim Stallings, Laura Edmondson, Johnny Edmondson and wife, Jennifer.

She adored her great-grandchildren, Dakota Terry, Cierra Terry, Jacoby Edmondson, Alyssa Edmondson, Kennedy Ford, and Makayla Edmondson. She was Aunt Cretia to her much loved nieces and nephews.
