Due to 80% chance of rain, we have decided to move the entire BBQ competition to the Roundhouse on 5th Street. The times are still 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our band, 2nd Creek will still start at 11 am. The teams will be cooking outside; however all tasting and judging will be indoors at the Roundhouse.word out. We will have the competitors set up to cook in the parking lot on 5th street. We hope this will help our attendance, our competitors and our judges.
These competitors have been working very hard to get ready for this competition. While we are very disappointed in the weather, we do want to shift our focus to the competitors. This event has the potential to become an annual event that draws a large crowd, but we have to start somewhere. We want each competitor to feel welcome and have a good experience so they will compete next year. Please come to the Roundhouse to support our participants, taste delicious BBQ and listen to great music!
TUSCUMBIA-There will be a BBQ Cook-Off this year at Tuscumbia’s Springfest in downtown Tuscumbia on Saturday, 
April 27th from 11 am until 4 pm there will be an awards ceremony at 3 pm. there will be live entertainment from the band 2nd Creek with arts and craft vendors all along downtown Tuscumbia free admission to Springfest. Tickets for the BBQ tasting are $5.00 which allows you to taste each competitors BBQ . The ticket also gives you one vote for the People’s Choice Award and a portion of the proceeds will go to Sidney’s Safe Foundation.
Come to Historic Downtown Tuscumbia on Saturday April 27 for a day of good music, great arts and crafts, and good southern BBQ.
