ATHENS–HealthSource Chiropractic of Athens initially set a goal of raising $500 for the City of Athens Relay for Life Team. Side wagers among the staff were made, such as having to wear an opposing team’s school colors.
During a visit to City Hall, HealthSource and Mayor’s Office staff discussed setting the goal to $1,000, and another side wager developed involving pies to the face.
HealthSource raised $1,450.
This week, Dr. Devin Eernisse, Mayor Ronnie Marks, Kim Glaze and Holly Hollman received pies in the face from a patient, cancer survivor and granddaughter of a cancer survivor.
