We are so sorry for the loss of your Dad. He did so much good for our area and because of him our community is a better place to live and raise our children. He touched so many lives and will never be forgotten. May God bless and keep each of you and your families during this sad time. You are all in our Prayers.

I was a classmate of Harlon’s at Lauderdale County High School in the late forties. I was also privileged to be a part of the team that won 19 of 20 games, tying one, in our last two years there. I was not surprised by his achievements with the Chicago Bears. But my most abiding memory of Harlon is the conversation I had with him after his return from his pro-football adventures; in which he assured me of his faith in Jesus Christ. My sympathy to all his family and friends who are missing him just now. Pastor John White, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
