Today, March 20, 2013, we all say our Goodbyes to Michael Steven Thompson. He touched the hearts of everyone who knew him and loved him. Our world will never be the same without him.
The special hugs and the individual connection of the love he gave each and everyone of us, is in all of us as we go through the rest of our life. We should keep this close to our hearts and let it be a guide to remember what life is all about. If you knew Mike Thompson, he was always the same.
His parents were John and Jane Thompson. His wife is Joyce Thompson. He had three children: Todd and his wife, Mary, Robbie and his wife, Amanda and Beth Thompson. He has 8 beautiful grandchildren.
Funeral service for Mike Thompson, 59, will be Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hal Daigre officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Thompson died on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at his residence. He was born November 20, 1953, in Morgan County to John Lee Thompson and Dorothy Jane (Vowell) Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a building inspector for the City of Flint. He graduated from MCHS in 1972.
