Clyde Hayes Dawson, age 74, of Town Creek, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at North Alabama Medical Center.
Clyde was taught to work hard at a very early age and has continued through life to be a workaholic. He worked as a brick mason and did exceptional work. He was a member of Mt. Zion #1 Missionary Baptist Church in the Wolf Springs Community. He loved his family, and will be missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 50 years, Audrey Inman Dawson; daughters, Jessica Dawson, Hope Sulivant; grand-puppy, Cocoa; sisters, Jean Love, Joyce Mitchell (Billy), Jenny McMillan (Frankie), Peggy Dawson; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie & Elizabeth Dawson, and brothers, Charles, Kenneth, & Paul Dawson.
A public graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023, at King Cemetery in the Wolf Springs Community.
