Aloha Dawn Smithey, age 62, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023. She was born May 8, 1960, to Waylon and Maxine Smithey in Tuscaloosa, AL. Miss Smithey is survived by her father, Waylon Smithey of Huntsville; sisters Janna Owens of Birmingham, Julia Williams of Huntsville, Paula Rogers (Lee) of Columbiana; nephews, Adam Irby (Christiana), Huntsville, Kevin Irby, Christopher Martin, and Cody Owens (Kaitlin), all of Birmingham; nieces Alanna Weems, Jennifer Weems, and Jordan Patton, all of Birmingham, and Amber Williams of Grant. She is preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Hopkins Smithey, and her brother, Flint Waylon Smithey. The service will be graveside Thursday, March 23, 2023, at noon at Bell View Cemetery located on Bell Factory Road
