Huntsville Woman Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident Near Gurley

MADISON COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that occured near Gurley has taken the life of one person:

” A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:56 p.m. Saturday, March 18, has claimed the life of a Huntsville woman.

Megan E. Whitehall, 21, was fatally injured when the 2006 Toyota Camry that she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Whitehall was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Gurley Pike, approximately two miles northwest of Gurley, in Madison County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
