Stephen Patrick Campbell, 75 of Houston, Alabama, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 28 2023 in Addison. He was the beloved husband of Karmel Campbell.
Stephen was born on January 13, 1948 in Newton, Massachusetts to the late Walter and Gertrude (Dionne) Campbell.
Stephen grew up in Rhode Island and graduated from La Salle Academy and Providence College. After graduating, he proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He worked as a quality control engineer working in many capacities and traveled around the country before retiring in 2011.
He will be remembered for his love of golf, his quick wit, and his love for his family and friends.
Arrangements for a memorial service will be announced on a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Karmel Campbell of Houston, Alabama; grandson, Ashton Campbell of Houston, Alabama; step-daughter, Savannah Crumley of Birmingham, Alabama; sister, Patricia Christiansen and husband, Frans of Port St. Lucie, Florida; brother, John Campbell and wife Laurie of North Kingston, Rhode Island; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Joseph and Justin Campbell; parents, Walter and Gertrude Campbell; and brother, Walter Campbell Jr.
