Henry Jerrold Berry, age 71 of Douglas passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Marshall Medical Center South.
There will be a memorial service at 5 p.m. Monday evening, March 13, 2023 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4 until 5 before the service.
He is survived by his wife; Glenda Sims Berry, daughter; Tara Dickerson (Chad), son; Jerrold Shane Berry (Lindsay), grandchildren; Tanner Dickerson, Landon Berry, Garrick Berry, Avery Dickerson, Gavin Jewell, Carter Berry, Carter Jewell, Ava Jewell, Olivia Jewell, Jack Jewell and Adeline Jewell, brother; Farrial Berry, sisters; Joan Criswell, Faye Wilson and Judy Roche. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Berry is preceded in death by his parents; Verbon and Susie Berry, brothers and sisters; Martha Bryant, Merlene Beck, Lance Berry, Linda Morris, Rebecca Berry and Janice Owen, mother-in-law and father-in-law; Kyle and Betty Sims.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Shepherds Cove Hospice, St. Jude’s Hospital and Childrens Hospital-Birmingham.
