Robert Christopher Krueger, 57, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was a 1984 graduate of Huntsville High School and graduated from Athens State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education.

Robert was a member of Twickenham-Milford Chapter, Order of DeMolay, located in Huntsville, Alabama where he was a recipient of the Legion of Honor. He was a Chapter Advisor, Chevalier, State Master Councilor, and Master Councilor. He was a Master Mason and a member of Apollo Lodge No. 921, also located in Huntsville where he served as Worshipful Master 2016 -2017.

Robert was an avid photographer. He volunteered his photography skills at Huntsville Animal Services. He was also a lifelong Auburn fan and Pittsburgh Penguins hockey fan.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Joseph Krueger, Sr., and Betty Jean Buckley Krueger. He is survived by his three siblings, Deborah Krueger Milton (Steve), Kimberly Krueger Boucher (Jim), and Walter Joseph Krueger, Jr. (Lynne Wells); nieces and nephew, Kate, Britany, Elizabeth (James), Michael (Kaley); and great nieces and nephews, Brayley, Jay, Josh, Annalise, Jack, and Jacob.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Huntsville Masonic Center, 3008 9th Avenue SW, Huntsville, AL 35805 on April 8, 10am to 12pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Apollo Lodge 921, 3008 9th Ave SW, Huntsville: AL 35805, Twickenham-Milford DeMolay, c/o Scott Lagrone, 303 Narrow Lane, New Market, AL 35761, Huntsville Animal Service Foundation, 4959 Triana Boulevard, or the American Kidney Foundation, kidneyfund.org.
