E. L. Ragsdale, 90, of Logan, Alabama, passed away on March 6, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Ragsdale was born September 9, 1932, to Elijah Johnny Avery & Ethel Estell Wall Ragsdale. No services are planned at this time.
Mr. Ragsdale was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Flora Willie Thornton Ragsdale; his son, Glen Ragsdale, grandson, Jason Ragsdale; infant grandson, Roger Dewayne Ragsdale; his father, Elijah Johnny Avery Ragsdale; brothers, Reuben, Nelson, Avery Ragsdale; and sisters, Evelyn Fields, Faynell Tyree.
He is survived by his sons, Philip Dale Ragsdale and Roger Bruce Ragsdale; honorary daughter, Sandra Jenny Sanford; brother Jerry (Joyce)Ragsdale; sisters, Tommie Cleghorn, Bonnie Cleghorn and Judy Ragsdale; grandchildren, Rosa Deann (Gary) Noles, Linda Janette (Melissa) Wiest, Tracy Jo (Derick) Wright, Mary Elizabeth (Jerome) Dyson; great-grandchildren, Danielle Dawn Ragsdale, Brandy and Sandy Ragsdale, Angie Marie Haley, Robert Lee Ragsdale, Jr., Allen Jerome Ragsdale, Brian Ragsdale; and a host of family and friends.
