Henrietta Borchers Pillers

Henrietta Borchers Pillers, age 92, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at her residence.

Mrs. Henrietta was born on November 15, 1930, in New Orleans, LA.  She was always caring, loving, and giving.   She loved working as an activity coordinator for nursing homes and was a member of the Russellville Chapter Eastern Star.   She was always helping someone.  She loved to buy and sell at flea markets and yard sales, always enjoying refurbishing her finds to give it a second chance.  She loved her husband and her children, as well as her grandchildren and leaves them many wonderful memories.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Henry F. Pillers; sons, Danny C. Williams, Michael J. Williams; grandchild, Angel Williams; mother, Edna May Howell Borchers; father, Harry Borchers, Sr., siblings, Jimmy Borchers, Jack Borchers, Freddie Borchers, Rose Borchers, Edna Borchers, June Olivier’, and Anna Falgoust.

She is survived by her children, Gail M. Williams, Melody M. Pillers; grandchildren, Dionne M. Veque, John W. Schmidt, Jr., Aaron W. DeLoach, Darrin B. DeLoach, Jared J. DeLoach, Michael J. Williams, Jr., Daniel Williams, Diane Williams, Matthew Williams; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren; sister, Sue Borchers; and a host of nieces & nephews.

The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the service following at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel.  Pastor Pearl Shelton and Pastor James Williams will be speaking at the service.  Burial will be at Liberty Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Haleyville.  The pall bearers will be Darrin B. DeLoach, Billy Hall, Billy Patterson, Gene Darty, Donnie Hargett, and Paul Colburn.  The honorary pallbearer will be Wayne Shelnutt.
