Cody "Hot Sauce" Yearwood  Cody Eugene “Hot Sauce” Yearwood, age 29, of Russellville, passed away on Sunday, February 05, 2023.

Cody was a boiler maker by trade.  He was  quite the character, always making his friends and family laugh, and always having fun.  He was very mechanical minded, being able to fix just about anything.  His family lovingly called him the “dog whisperer” because he loved dogs and was able to train them to do anything. Cody loved music, bonfires, grilling, and alcohol.  He was a chef master when it came to grilling, and loved spicing up anything he cooked with hot sauce.  He shared a special bond with his sister, Bayley, and they were each one’s best friend, not just siblings.  Even though his family will miss him very much, they know that Cody is now pain free.

Cody was preceded in death by his grandmother, Charlotte Mansell and grandfather, Elmer Yearwood.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Annette Mansell; father, Troy (Cindy) Yearwood; sister, Bayley Mansell; step-brothers, Marcus and Jonathan; grandfather, Woodrow Mansell; grandmother, Nyoka Yearwood; special aunt & uncle, Tammy & Danny Beaver; cousin, Austin Whitten; several other aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends, Missy & Chris Hilderbrand; best friend, Adam “Sunshine” Hilderbrand; his beloved pit bull, “Little One”; and a host of friends.

The visitation will be 2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the memorial service following at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel.  Friends, Brian Whitten and Chris Hilderbrand will speak at the service.
