William Benjamin “Benjie” Mauldin

William Benjamin “Benjie” Mauldin, 60 passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at his residence.  He graduated from Banks High School in Birmingham, AL in 1980.  He was a member of Red Bay First United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 10, 10 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Dallas Culver officiating.  Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Marvin’s Chapel cemetery in Pinson, AL.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his brother T. Ray Mauldin (Rebecca); one niece Rachel Mauldin O’Toole (Cody); one nephew, Benjamin Rudd Mauldin; great-nephew, Eli Daniel O’Toole and two half-sisters, Brittany Weaver and Brooke Newton (Todd).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Clinton and Willene Goeller Mauldin.

Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 9-10 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Red Bay First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 126, Red Bay, AL 35582.
