Mrs. Louise Lee Childress, age 91 of Albertville, passed away Saturday, February 04, 2023. A visitation will be held Monday, February 06, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 07, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., at Mt. High Baptist Church, with Brother Roy Miller and Brother Tex Martin officiating. Mrs. Childress will lie-in-state from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Burial will follow services at Mt. High Cemetery.
Mrs. Childress is survived by her sons Allen Childress (Patty), Rickey Childress (Kim), and Dennis Childress; grandchildren Brad Childress (Brandy), Chastity Faucett (BJ), Brooke Loyd (Ryan), Blakeley Strickland (Lucas), Justin Childress (Kalie), Colin Childress (Kaitlin); Erin Brunson, and Clay Childress; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Tencil Lee; husband SJ Childress; and brother Thomas Lee.
Pallbearers will include Justin Childress, Colin Childress, Clay Childress, Brad Childress, Austin Lee, and Dylan Lee.
