Mary Joyce Moorehead Cobb, age 75, of Estill Springs, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Northwest in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born in Moore County on July 16, 1947, to the late Rufus Gordon and Annie Lavonia (Jean) Moorehead. Before her retirement, she was employed as an office manager. She always enjoyed spending time with her husband, especially riding motorcycles. Mary cherished the time spent spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Southern Tennessee Ladies Society (STLS). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Andrew Cobb, and brother-in-law, Roy Andrews. Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Maria (Michael) Steele of Estill Springs, and Malinda (Tom) Pitts of Bella Vista, Arkansas; sister, Nancy Andrews of Lynchburg; brother-in-law, Billy (Joyce) Cobb of Niceville, Florida; grandchildren, Alex (Devan) Gresham, Dustin (Bria) Gresham, Amber Fickes (Scott Caldwell), Thomas (Ashton) Pitts, and Michael Pitts; great-grandchildren, Amy Bihari, Lyndsie Porter, Chelsie Porter, Dexter Gresham, and Davey Pitts; and fur babies, Little Joe, Paco Bell, and Daisey Mae. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday, February 6, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rev. Anna Brockman officiating. Interment will follow at Lynchburg Cemetery.
