Cline Ray Borden Cline Ray Borden, 80, Leighton, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Visitation will be Thursday, February 2, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Friday, February 3, in the funeral home chapel, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Mike Weldon and Dr. Ray Harrison officiating. Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Moulton

Cline especially loved his family and was so proud of them. His land, farming, and his animals were his passions. His special nicknames were Slow Motion and Farmer Boy.

Cline was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Annie Borden; brothers, Raymond, David, Wayne, Larry, and Harold Borden; sisters, Jean, Aileen, and Pat; precious grandson, Heath Harrison; and special sister-in-law, Mary Borden.

Cline is survived by his wife of sixty years, Mary Ann Borden; children, Melissa Harrison (Tim), Raymond Borden (Sheila), and Jennifer Etheridge (Brad); grandchildren, Dr. Ray Harrison (Jami), Liza Harrison, Kalon Borden (Lacey), Garrett Borden (Jasmine), Carter Etheridge, and Ford Etheridge; great-grandson, Landon Borden; and lifelong friend, David Sizemore

Pallbearers will be Ray Harrison, Kalon Borden, Garrett Borden, Carter Etheridge, Ford Etheridge, Tim Harrison, and Brad Etheridge. Liza Harrison and Jami Harrison will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family offers special thanks to Judy, with Comfort Care Hospice; friends, Gwen and David Sizemore; and members of our church family at Blythe Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blythe Methodist Church or Children’s Hospital of Birmingham.
