Charles Franklin Henson, 74 of Athens, passed away on Monday, January 30th, 2023, at his residence. Mr. Henson was born on August 20th, 1948, in Florence, AL, to James Henson and Mary Katherine Vickery Henson.
Mr. Henson is survived by his wife Bettina Kaye Henson; sister Sandra Gooch; daughter Gina Moran (Lynn); grandchildren Paris Milar (Jordan), Avery Branner, Ireland Branner, and Ashleigh Crittenden; and great-grandchildren Marrison Roe, River Crittenden, and Sawyer Crittenden.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Lyndon Henson; sister Joan Hunt; and grandson Dakota Shaw.
A memorial service for Mr. Henson will be planned for a later date.
