Betty Joyce Hughes 81 of Elkmont passed away Monday at her residence.
Mrs. Hughes was born October 11, 1941 in Limestone County, she was retired from the Limestone County Board of education as a lunchroom worker. Mrs. Hughes was of the Baptist Faith.
Graveside services will be 11 am Thursday at Mitchell Cemetery in Anderson.
No visitation is planned.
Mrs. Hughes is survived by her Husband, Mahlon Hughes of Elkmont. Son, Ricky Hughes of Athens. Grandchildren, Coby Hughes, Shaw Hughes and Nicole Hall. Three Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her Parents, and Daughters, Linda Gail Hughes and Melissa Massey.
