Funeral services for Ms. Betty Jo Powers, age 89, are scheduled for 11am Monday January 30, 2023, in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Dyers Chapel Cemetery. Ms. Powers passed away Saturday night in Decaturville, Tn. She was a member of Dyers Chapel Church of Christ and worked at Brown Shoe earlier in life and enjoyed gardening. She was born July 4, 1933, in Henderson County to the late Thomas Feak and Ethel Elaine Martin Stanfill. She was preceded.in death by husband- Bobby Powers, infant son- Morris Randall Powers, brothers- Willard Stanfill, Martin Stanfill, sisters- Rachel Dennison and Evelyn Beecham. Survivors include. Son- Mickey Powers (Bonnie), daughter- Wanda Doyle (Thomas), one sister- Anna Lee Stanfill (Roy), two granddaughters- Jennifer Rogers (Richard) and Bethany Jowers (Casey), three step grandchildren- Jennifer Myracle (Clint), Jonathan Bailey, Tracy Bailey (Misty), 10 great grandchildren- Alli, Connor, Bobby Jowers, Addison, Paxton Rogers, Seth and Savannah Myracle, Tristen, Hayden and Greysen Bailey.
