Raymond "Roho" Earl Palmer Raymond Earl “Roho” Palmer  passed away January 23, 2023, after a brief but brave battle with cancer. He was born on August 11, 1947, in Bradford, Arkansas, to the late Andrew Jackson Palmer and Lemar Vada George Palmer. He was one of 17 children.

Roho was a man’s man with a strong and fierce presence. He would often say he wasn’t “highly educated” but he was very smart. He started a junkyard and wrecker service out of nothing and made a successful business for 40+ years. He retired from Delta International in 2001 but continued to run his junk yard until he fell ill in July of 2022.

He married his first wife Kathleen Johnson (Baxter) and had 2 children; son, Ray and daughter, Crystal along with 2 bonus sons, Stephen and Larry Nantz. He then had his daughter Amy with his 2nd wife Susan Waddle Palmer and had 2 bonus daughters, Jennifer Crane Ryan and Tonya Crane. He loved his children more than they knew.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Lemar George Palmer; Father, Andrew Palmer; and 14 of his 16 siblings: Pete, Bruce, Toby, Earnest, Ruby Lee, Olean, John (JB), Gladys, Ruth, Richard, Fraymond “Red” Palmer, Avalene, Charles, & Dinah Holland.

He is survived by his companian and soulmate of 14 years Joann Pace with whom he loved and cared for. She in turn loved and took very good care of him. He is also survived by his 3 children Ray Palmer (Shona), Bonus-Grandchildren: Gavin, Madison, & Haley of Mena AR, Crystal Palmer (Charles), Grandchildren: Adrion, Dashreon, & Aaliyah, Bonus Grandchildren: Nikia, Royal, & Lyric, Great-Grandson: Adrion Jr. of Weatherford TX, Amy Suzanne Parmer (Rick) Grandchildren: Cameron, Jazmyn, Courtney, & Zackery of Tupelo MS. His Bonus-Children: Stephen Nantz, Larry Nantz, Jennifer Crane (Ryan) & Tonya Crane along with his sister Peggy Houser (Larry) of San Antonio TX and his brother Keith Palmer of Mantachie, MS.

The family would like to thank Sanctuary Hospice for their wonderful care. Lisa was so kind and his nurse, Jessica, was so good to him. She provided comfort to his family and kept them informed about his last stage of life.

Pallbearers will be Rick Parmer, Cameron Hall, Benji George, Brandon Ryan, Chris Ryan, Cole Tutor, and Keith McMillen. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Kinsley, Ronnie Hickman, George White, Danny Cochran.
