Bobbie Marie “Bob” Patton, age 96, of Cedar Bluff, AL passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA. She was a native of Summertown, TN, and a retired typesetter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Looney and Katie Gilliam White; several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by husband, Jerry Patton of Cedar Bluff, AL; one daughter, Carolyn Hamm (Larry) of Rome, GA; one grandson, James Hamm of Dallas, GA; one granddaughter, Melissa Sheppard of Rome, GA; one great-granddaughter, Sidney Wright of Cedar Bluff, AL; and one great-grandson, Alex Wright of Cedar Bluff, AL.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2023, with Glen Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
