Ritz to Screen Beatles-themed ‘Yesterday’

SHEFFIELD – Fans can celebrate the music of The Beatles with the film Yesterday at the Ritz Theatre. This inventive, musical romantic comedy will be screened on Friday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available at tennesseevalleyarts.org and at the door

The film is directed by Danny Boyle and stars Himesh Patel and Lily James. Jack (played by

Patel) is a struggling singer-songwriter who wakes up after an accident to discover that The Beatles have never existed. Jack starts performing songs by the greatest band in history to a world that has never heard them, and he becomes an overnight sensation.

This screening of Yesterday is licensed through Swank Motion Pictures, Inc. Concessions will be available, including popcorn, wine, beer, soda, water, candy. Seating is general admission.
