Funeral services for Mr. Lois Ray Montgomery, age 90, are scheduled for 2:00pm Sunday in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home Scotts Hill Chapel with burial to follow in Red Walnut Cemetery. Mr. Montgomery passed away Friday night in Parsons, Tn. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God and retired Wood Foreman at Inland Container in Waverly, after retirement he opened a discount grocery in Scott Hill. He enjoyed going and listening to sports, especially basketball, playing at Scotts Hill High School where he played his senior year in the new gym. Mr. Montgomery is preceded in death by, five brothers- Grady Montgomery, Vernice Montgomery, Ruell Montgomery Lon Montgomery and half-brother- Jake Ethridge, one sister- Carolee Lancaster and step- grandson- Tommy Houston; Survivors include. wife-Charlotte Montgomery – two sons- Danny Montgomery (Beverly) and Donny Montgomery (Loretta) one daughter- Donna K. Martindale (Jason) and stepdaughter- Sandra Turner (Sam), stepson- Chester Houston, sister- Dorthy Ivey, 11 grandchildren- Brad Montgomery (Dana), Jeff Montgomery (Robin), Seth Montgomery, Kaleb Montgomery, Graciee, Callie Anna, Kately Martindale, step grandchildren- Russell Houston, Jenny Wallace (Roger), Jamey and Tracy Moore, two great grandchildren- Caitlyn Montgomery Butler (Addison) and Mason Montgomery.
