Lacey’s Spring Man Charged With Sexual Offense Charges

LACEY’S SPRING-The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release concerning the arrest of a Lacey’s Spring man who has been charged with several charges including Sex Offense charges:
“On Saturday, January 21, Deputies responded to a Sexual Assault in Lacey’s Spring. After interviewing the victim, Deputies and Investigators developed Christopher Walter Hutchens, 23 of Lacey’s Spring, as a suspect.
Deputies and Investigators attempted to contact Hutchens who fled on foot from a residence on Mack Brown Rd in Lacey’s Spring.
Deputies and Investigators located the subject in a wood line where he proceeded to brandish a handgun. Deputies were able to disarm the subject and take him into custody.
Investigators have charged Hutchens with:
▪️13A-6-66 – Sex Offense-Sexual Contact – Compulsion – No Consent
▪️13A-10-52 – Attempting to Elude a Police Officer (Misdemeanor)
▪️13A-6-23 – Menacing (Gun)
Bond was set at $200,600.00. (The original 2 million dollar bond was incorrectly entered into the jail system)
Hutchens was transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail.
