Mrs. Thelma Irene Owens Jordan, age 88 of Somerville died Saturday March 9, 2013. Her funeral will be Wednesday March 13, 2013 at 2:00pm at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Owens officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday March 12, 2013 from 5-8pm at Peck Funeral Home. She will lie in State from 1-2pm at the church. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Mrs. Jordan was born January 31, 1925 to Edward L. Owens and Gertrude Powell Owens. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Kenneth Jordan and 3 brothers: Edward Owens, Harvard Owens and Charles Owens. She is survived by 1 son: James Victor Jordan (Donna) of Cullman, Al. 1 Daughter: Mary Jordan Simms (John) of Hazel Green, Al. 3 Brothers: William Owens of Pensacola, Florida Adrian Owens of Pensacola, Florida Durell Owens of Monroeville, Al. 1 Grandson: Tyler James Simms Pallbearers will be Deacons of Shiloh Baptist Church.
