LAWRENCE COUNTY-The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department issued a press release concerning a drug bust that took place on January, 18:“On January 18th 2023 Agents with the Lawrence County VICE/Narcotics Unit, along with the assistances of the Criminal Investigations and Patrol Divisions, executed a narcotics search warrant on the residence of Justin Saint (39) in the Caddo community of Lawrence County, Alabama.
Upon the search warrant execution Agents located an individual, Eric Burgess (42), who possessed a quantity of illegal narcotics on his person.
Agents recovered an excess of 13g methamphetamine (individually packaged), a number of Hydrocodone (Schedule II Narcotic), Oxycodone (Schedule II Narcotic), Marijuana and packaging aids/materials.
Eric Rollins Burgess was arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Jail, where he was held in lieu of bond for Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Marijuana.
Justin Saint was arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Jail, where he was held in lieu of bond for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
All individuals are presumed innocent, until proven guilty in a court of law.”
