Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Pritchard, age 80, are scheduled for 2 PM, Thursday, January 19, 2023 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Corinth Baptist Cemetery in Darden.
Mrs. Pritchard passed away in Jackson on Sunday, January 15, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born September 25, 1942 in Chicago Heights, IL to the late Lorander and Bonnie Johnson Middleton. She was a homemaker, a devout Christian, and very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family were her best friends. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Ernest “Red” Pritchard and two sons, Ronald Pritchard and Ernest Pritchard, Jr.
Survivors include her two sons, Timothy Pritchard (Patricia) and Daniel Pritchard (Marian); four daughters, Deborah Pritchard (Kat), Bonnie Miller (Jim), Kimberly Markgraf (Scott), and Carolyn Pritchard Pinkstaff; one sister, Linda Sellers; sixteen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 4-7 PM and on Thursday, 12 PM – 2 PM.
