Gene E. Landis, 79, Muscle Shoals, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, January 13, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A graveside service will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens, Tuscumbia, beginning at 2:30 p.m. with Greg Willis officiating.
Gene was a lifelong resident of Colbert County. He was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Marie Landis.
Gene is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karen Landis; children, Ronald Landis (Donna), Tony Cooper (Charlotte), Christopher Cooper, and Carah McGee (Patrick); grandchildren, Lee Landis, Whitten McGee, Gavin McGee, Madison Cooper, Wren Cooper, and Roth Cooper; and great-grandchildren, Somer Landis and Ellie Landis.
