Roy Allen Smith of New Hope, Alabama; passed away abruptly on January 6th, 2023, at the age of fifty-eight years old. Allen was born in Albertville, Alabama on January 26th, 1964, to Rebecca Ann Erby and Charlie James Smith. Mr. Smith leaves behind to commemorate and reminisce his existence; wife, Linda Smith; son, Mitchell Nelson; siblings, Billy Erby (Patricia Erby), John-Wayne Erby, and Teresa Bearden (Derek Bearden). As well as eight nieces and four nephews. Along with many other beloved friends and family. Allen will ultimately be reunited with his mom, Rebecca Ann Erby; dad, Charlie James Smith; stepdad, John Franklin Erby; and brother, Timothy Pierce. Allen loved to spend time at the lake and playing horseshoes. He also loved to work with his brother, Billy Erby. His visitation will occur at Carr Funeral Home on Sunday- January 8th, 2023, from 12 p.m. till 2 p.m. With the burial taking place immediately afterwards at Solitude Baptist Church Cemetery in Albertville, Alabama, with Derek Bearden officiating. Pallbearers safeguarding Mr. Smith to his concluding resting place will be Timmy Beason, Brandon Ridens, Micheal Seiber, Charles Seiber, Roy Erby, and Anthony Erby.
