Marvin Cecil Rye, age 98, of Hamilton, Alabama passed away Tuesday, January 03, 2023, at NMMC_ Hamilton. He was born in Alabama on October 30. 1924, to John G Rye and Millie Jeffreys Rye.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 07, 2023, from 11-1 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Tommy Franks, Ed Puckett, Mike Frederick officiating and burial at Cooper Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Rye; parents, John and Millie Rye; siblings, Laymon, Sanford, Jessma, Evelyn, Archie, Lemuel, Wilburn, Johnny.
He leaves to cherish his memories, sisters, Eva Dell Williams, Jimmie Lou Williams; brothers, Olan Rye (wife, Jo Ann), Hershel Rye (wife, Gail) a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
