Virginia Pearl Robinson Gunnin – Obituary

Virginia Pearl Robinson Gunnin, 79, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Cornelia Ward Robinson; her husband of 57 years, Lester; and her daughter, Susan.

She is survived by her daughter, Gina Lee (Nick) of Montgomery; brother, Curtis Robinson (Nell) of Portsmouth, Va.; sisters, Grace Wiseman of Suffolk, Va., and Frances Copper of Wilmington, N.C.; five grandchildren, and five great- grandchildren. Prior to moving to Montgomery in 2010, she and Lester owned a successful real estate and appraisal businesses in Decatur. She was also a longtime member of Central Baptist Church. Visitation will be today from 4:30 until 6 p.m. at Leak Memory Chapel. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg with Dr. Rob Jackson officiating. Hamilton & Hackleburg Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Central Baptist Church of Decatur or First Baptist Church of Montgomery. Online condolences may be made at www.leak-mc.com
