Margaret Jeanette Leach passed away12/20/2022 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice. She was born in Guntersville on December 28, 1952. She was a graduate from Marshall County High School in 1971. She attended Snead Community College where she was a Snead Parsonette. She was a Hospice Nurse for many years, earning her Nursing degree from UAH. She was also an avid singer and appeared in several productions for the Whole Backstage in the 1990’s. She was the Music Director at Warrenton Baptist Church for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents Myles and Julia Leach of Warrenton. She is survived by her 3 children Josh Kirkland (Ladana), Heather Turner(Wayland) and Julia Puckett(Jon) 11 grandchildren Robin,Raven,Katelynn,Bailey,Deacon,Maccoy,Cora,Carolyn,John-Myles,Hunter and Leo and 2 great-grandchildren Ben and Arthur. A brother Greg Leach(Deneen) sister Alva Kemp(Fred) and sister Lenora Swords(Steven).Visitation will be at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville on Thursday 12/22/22 from12 pm til 2 pm with service at 2pm and internment at Warrenton Cemetery to follow. Service will be officiated by Pastor Mike Williamson.
